American Idol: Jacksonville
Sixteen lucky idol auditioners were handed a golden ticket to Hollywood after trying out in Jacksonville, Florida tonight. Out of the sixteen we only saw a few. And, out of those few only three really caught our eye. Our favorites of the night were Sharon Wilbur (the girl with the cute dog), Anne Marie Boskovich (who sang Colbie Callait's Bubbly after her return from a brief makeover) and T.K. Hash.
Want to see Anne Marie's audition again or maybe you didn't get to see if the first time? See it over at Idol Blog Live here
If you want a truly entertaining recap of tonight's episode visit MTV's Jim C.'s Jacksonville recap (I'm too lazy to spell out his full last name - sorry).
Finally, aren't we all so happy that the auditions are coming to an end this week? I know I am. And, since the auditions are coming to end, do any of you have a favorite yet? Normally I have some very strong LIKES at this point but not this season! I'm hoping to see some spectacular performances during Hollywood week.

Episode #3: San Francisco
Last night's episode was anything but good. With only 12 making it to Hollywood, we only really saw one audition worthy of being mentioned. That audition was Adam Lambert. Adam Lambert sang Bohemian Rhapsody. Simon said it was a bit theatrical. I actually really liked it and I think he will do really well in this competition. He is rumored to have made it through Hollywood week. I guess we will see for sure in a few weeks.
Who were your favorites from San Francisco? Least favorites? Most irritating?
Tonight we will be skipping American Idol (the Louisville, KY auditions) in favor of the Lost season 5 premiere. Who's with me?

Casey Carlson
As of this morning Casey Carlson-the dark haired 20 yr. old beauty from Minnesota is the number 18th most searched for term on Google. Yes, we like her and it seems like everyone else does too. Could she be the next American Idol or will she get booted in Hollywood week?
Want to know more about Casey Carlson?
Casey's audition video from American Idol Kansas City: She sang Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles HERE
Move over Bikini Girl, there are pictures of Casey Carlson in a bikini too- as if this comes as a surprise. I don't get that so many people are freaking out over contestants in bathing suits unless you are a 15 yr. old boy.

Episode #2 : American Idol Kansas City
American Idol stopped in David Cook's hometown of Kansas City, Missouri and came out with some very cool hopefuls that get to go on to the Hollywood rounds which we will get to in just a moment but before I start the recap (our version of a recap anyway) I feel compelled to give 2 tips to American Idol wannabes:
#1 Stop Crying. It's not that bad. Most people do not make it as artists.
#2 Whiten your teeth/clean your teeth. For the love of God at least brush your teeth before you go audition for American Idol.
Ok, moving along...
Some of the Top Auditions From Kansas City:
Casey Carlson - the 20 yr. old from Minnesota. She has an original country-ish sound to her voice. I really like her. Yes to Hollywood.
Von Smith - 22 years old. Definitely original, strong voice, natural talent & cute. The younger girls will vote for him if he gets past the Hollywood week. Yes to Hollywood.
Michael Castro - (brother to Jason Castro who placed 4th overall in last season's American Idol). He's just as good as his brother - even the interviews are the same - and he says that he just started singing a few weeks before the audition. WOW! Yes to Hollywood.
Danny Gokey - the 28 yr. old guy with a very heartfelt/tearjerker backstory. I could not imagine what he must be going through. Anyway, he sang great! Randy said, "Crazy vocals. One of the best". Paula said, "Very soulful". Yes to Hollywood.
Anoop - doesn't look like a singer but he sure is! Randy says, "Anoop dog in da house!" Will be looking forward to see how he does in Hollywood week. Yes to Hollywood.
Asa - 28 yr. old father and band director. He sang Michael Jackson's The Way You Make Me Feel and it was good. Reminds me of an older Chris Brown. Randy said, "It was HOT!" Yes to Hollywood.
Lil Rounds - Another backstory - her family's home was destroyed by a Tornado. Simon said, "LOVE her." Yes to Hollywood.
We also got to see a lot of not-so-good contestants with the worst of the night probably being Michael Nicewonder. We knew that one was coming though, right?
So, who were your favorites/least favorite of the night? Do you have a favorite contender right now- someone you see in the top 20?
Stay tuned as we will be dishing on American Idol daily.

A Countdown Of Sorts Before Season 8 Begins!
We need content to entertain us while we count down the days to the new 8th season of American Idol, right? So I present you with this.

Now, I know that Twilight image has probably been flashed in your face a thousand times already but have you seen these or these? WOW!
And, if you ever feel the need to know more about me personally or professionally you can follow me on Twitter. Entertainment and connection in 140 characters or less. Well, I shouldn't use the word entertainment because my life is pretty mundane. Apparently that doesn't matter, however. ;) If you are thinking, "WTF is Twitter?" then maybe you should read this.
Expect more of the same each day until AI 8 begins! Only 7 more days!
How can I not share with you everyone's favorite NEW vampires?
