I think it was a polite way for Fox to remove the controversy. I personally voted for him 50-60 times. He had a bad night, but over all had a smooth voice and was a one of the more photogenci fo the guys. I was very shocked that he was voted off after that awful arrangement of Christy Lee Cook's. I will heal and move on. I just hope someone offers him a recording deal. He surely deserves it.
I agree with the above post. Christy should have been voted off, but instead David is gone. I thought the controversy actually helped him, but when he said he worked for a "pizza bistro," America did not know what to believe. David, in my opinion, was not a bad singer and the hottest of the guys. Too bad it's back to the pizza bistro. Hope he gets good tips.
