Top 8 guys: 80's Week!

First of all, WOW, the guys did incredible last night. This was by far the best performances of the season so far and probably one of the best nights out of American Idol ever. Of course this is just my opinion but the guys were that good with the exception of one weak performance. And, now on to the recap of the guys...

Luke Menard: Yes, he was the one weak performance. I think he will definitely be leaving the show tomorrow night. Good bye eye candy. Your an Ok singer, just not top 12 material.

David Archuleta: Awww, I'm starting to like the little guy.

Danny Noriega: Let me just say that this little guy confuses me. He's adorable and I think He would be a great actor. He's a good singer but not among the top performers.

David Hernandez: So, this guy was a stripper. BIG DEAL. I think most of us have done things we later regret and sometimes we do things because we have too. And, sometimes we do things because we WANT to. Get over it. David H. did great last night even though he had a few mistakes and sung a Celine Dion song. Overall, he deserves top 12.

Michael Johns: Really Loved the song but I'm not liking him so much. He's not doing anything different. Can he sing anything else?

David Cook. Reminded me of Chris Daughtry. Loved this song choice and his version of it. IMO, the best performance of the night.

Jason Castro: I can't say this enough! He is so unique! A great performance, second best of the night!

Chikezie: I really want to like Chikezie. He's a good singer but unfortunately not top 12 material. I wonder if the voting public will agree?

My favorites of the night: Can I choose them all? Actually, I'll go with David Cook

Who I want to go home based on last night's performances: Luke Menard, Danny, or Chikezie. I would say Michael Johns because overall I don't like him that much but his performance last night was great or maybe I just really love that 80s song. :)

Who I think will go home:
Luke and David H. (is the controversy hurting him?), or Chikezie

I wonder if the girls will do as well as the guys did last night. What do you think?

There were no surprises but that’s good. I want the top 12 to be the best 12. Now is when it gets fun.

We wait until the 12 and play a game where you have to predict the final 2 over the next couple weeks. It sounds easy but it’s hard. It was pretty hard last year too. There’s a website that actually tracks it so we’re not bothered by managing everyone’s picks. We just created an office pool which is free. The site also offers an open game to the general public where anyone can just join. Dang, I sound like a commercial ; ) Anyway, check it out. It makes watching more fun.
