So, it's David Archuletta vs. David Cook in the finale next week so a David is going to win. ;) Can you guess which David we're rooting for?

I know I haven't posted on the blog in a while (hey life happens) but I just had to comment on this latest episode because I was truly surprised that David Archuletta made it to the finals after the disastrous With You performance the night before last. Syesha definitely deserved to be in the finale with David Cook.

Are you kidding? David Archuleta is the most original idol we've had yet and hes going to take the finale by storm. We've had enough rock an roll winners already, Daughtry, kinda sorta Kelly Clarkson...but we've yet to encounter a singer like Archuleta. And isnt that what American Idol is? Creating singers of all genre types? We have country singers (Underwood) gospel singers (Ruben Studdard) R&B singers (Jordan Sparks, Fantasia) and enough Rock and roll. Wheres the love song singers in all this? Thats why Archuleta should win. Hes a new genre that needs to be added to the list of already done genres, plus he has the sweetest voice. Children love him and I would buy his CD 10 times over. His music is going to be of epic proportions because it warms up the heart and I think America could use a little bit of that.
Archuleta takes the crown. :)
