Josiah Leming, possibly the most popular ousted American Idol contestant ever performed on the Ellen DeGeneras Show today.

His performance was amazing. He totally deserves a recording contract.

Here's Come The Hollywood Rounds

I'm actually quite anxious to hear and see some talent starting tonight during the Hollywood rounds. Thankfully the audition rounds are OVER. Quite frankly, the auditions this season were the most boring ever. I think the blogosphere will agree as evidenced here. I've never seen such mediocrity on American Idol before.

If I had to pick a favorite going into the Hollywood rounds right now, I'd have to say Danny N. He's a little on the flamboyant side but wow, what a surprisingly strong voice he has. I have a few others that I like but I'll mention them later on.

The 7th season of American Idol will be starting back up very soon. This blog is one of many that covers American Idol news and I hope to bring great (and generally objective) coverage again this year with some live blogging thrown in every now and then.

We ended last season's blogging unexpectedly due to family obligations (yes, life gets in the way, imagine that). However, this blog is one of many I author that is purely for fun so I hope you will stick with me this season. :)
