Idols Sing Michael Jackson This Week

On Tuesday night the top 13 Idol finalists will be singing songs by Michael Jackson. Overall, I think this is going to be really tough for some and easy for a few of them.

I'd love to hear Danny Gokey or Matt Giraud sing one of my favorites You Are Not Alone or a classic like I Just Can't Stop Loving You. Of course I cannot wait to hear AND see what Adam Lambert will sing. I'm sure it will be quite entertaining no matter what.

What do you think of the finalists singing songs by Michael Jackson? What do you want to hear? Who do you think will totally screw up during Michael Jackson week?

Early Faves From The Top 36

It's early in the game but we wanted to go ahead and share some of our early favorites ( 10 if them) before the real singing begins. Of course there are still several we haven't heard anything from but here we go anyway... BTW, this is not our projected top 10...just some of our early faves!

American Idol: Jacksonville

Sixteen lucky idol auditioners were handed a golden ticket to Hollywood after trying out in Jacksonville, Florida tonight. Out of the sixteen we only saw a few. And, out of those few only three really caught our eye. Our favorites of the night were Sharon Wilbur (the girl with the cute dog), Anne Marie Boskovich (who sang Colbie Callait's Bubbly after her return from a brief makeover) and T.K. Hash.

Want to see Anne Marie's audition again or maybe you didn't get to see if the first time? See it over at Idol Blog Live here

If you want a truly entertaining recap of tonight's episode visit MTV's Jim C.'s Jacksonville recap (I'm too lazy to spell out his full last name - sorry).

Finally, aren't we all so happy that the auditions are coming to an end this week? I know I am. And, since the auditions are coming to end, do any of you have a favorite yet? Normally I have some very strong LIKES at this point but not this season! I'm hoping to see some spectacular performances during Hollywood week.

A Countdown Of Sorts Before Season 8 Begins!

We need content to entertain us while we count down the days to the new 8th season of American Idol, right? So I present you with this.

How can I not share with you everyone's favorite NEW vampires?

Now, I know that Twilight image has probably been flashed in your face a thousand times already but have you seen these or these? WOW!

And, if you ever feel the need to know more about me personally or professionally you can follow me on Twitter. Entertainment and connection in 140 characters or less. Well, I shouldn't use the word entertainment because my life is pretty mundane. Apparently that doesn't matter, however. ;) If you are thinking, "WTF is Twitter?" then maybe you should read this.

Expect more of the same each day until AI 8 begins! Only 7 more days!

When Does Season 8 Begin?

In the last month I've been asked several times about when the new season of American Idol will begin. And, I was beginning to ask the same thing myself until I came across an AI commercial. So, dear readers, you will be happy to know that American Idol season 8 will begin in about 2 weeks - January 13, 2008 on FOX.

Stay tuned for updates, news, our likes and dislikes for season 8.
