Hollywood #3: 7 of Top 24 Revealed!

Last night seven of the top twenty-four were revealed on the third installment of the Hollywood rounds. However, if you've been following any American Idol fan blogs you probably already know the top 24 with all the spoilers floating around. Since Idol ran 2 hours last night and cut into my Lost time (not to mention the UK basketball game was on and who can resist John Wall?) I decided to flip back and forth between the two shows which means I missed a few scenes and cannot do a full recap. Truthfully, even though there are some amazing singers this year, American Idol is becoming a bit of a bore to me. Hopefully the top 24 brings some excitement next week.

Here are the 7 of the top 24 revealed in last night's episode:

Michael Lynch
Toddrick Hall
Didi Benami
Casey James
Katelyn Epperly
Aaron Kelly
Lee Dewyze

My faves out of these 7 are: Toddrick Hall, Casey James, and Didi Benami
I've also noticed that John Park is not getting a whole bunch of screen time. What is up with that? He's my favorite by far at this point.

If you want to skip tonight's episode and go straight to the top 24 then visit Joe's Place blog.

Recap From Last Week's Top 24 Episode

Last week the top 24 were chosen and while I was able to watch the episode I didn't have time to blog my thoughts considering I was on a trip with my husband. Luckily, we were both tired from traveling and just plopped (Is that a word?) ourselves onto the hotel beds and watched TV. ;)

So, on to my thoughts.

I'm going to get the Josiah thing out of the way first since he's such a hot topic these days. Actually more like this past week.

Yes, I am among the fans who is upset that he didn't make it through. He had more pure talent than many of the kids who made the top 24. There was something about Josiah that made him stand out. Maybe it was his story, his emotions, or his raw talent? I don't know. All I know is that he is very well liked all around the globe and especially online.

So, what do you think about the whole Josiah not making it deal?

Regardless of whether we see him back on American Idol, I think we will see him somewhere very soon. Go Josiah!!!

As far as the top 24 goes, most of them were predictable. I like Danny, Asia'h, Ramiele, and Chikezie so far. Oh,and why have I not heard of Luke Menard before?

I'm not quite ready to reveal my top picks. I'll have to see what is in store tonight and tomorrow night to determine my favorites.

Check back here after the top 12 guys perform tonight to read my thoughts and to see who were my favorite guy performances. Share yours in the comments.
