Chris Sligh...sings well. However, this performance was disappointing to me.

I expected more from him. Maybe it was the song? He's still one of my favorite guys though. Expectedly, the judges liked him.

Top 24 Idol Season Six Finalists Revealed

So, the list floating around was correct and we now have our top 24 finalists of American Idol season six.

It's still to early for me to pick a favorite but I will share with you a few opinions on some of the finalists.

Sundance Head. I don't know how he got through. He seemed to be a front runner early on in the original audition rounds but, now, he doesn't compare to many of the singers. I'll predict he gets cut early unless he has a major transformation. I just don't think he can do much.

Antonella Barba. She's a good singer and has the looks...very beautiful but she forgot her words while the one she was paired with, Marissa, did not. She clearly got through on her looks.

Chris Sligh. Probably one of the most promising ones. I predict he will definitely make top 10 or at least I'm hoping so.

Lakeesha Jones & Phil Stacey. I'm rooting for them strictly because they have children and that's a good enough reason. I hope they go far...very far.

Rudy Cardenas. He actually stood out among the guys tonight.

Oh, and there was one other girl, straight blonde hair, that I really liked but had never seen before..can't remember her name but I'll know once I see her photo. She was one of the girls that stood out.

Chris Richardson. Finally. Glad to see him. He's a really good singer but I'm not sure how original he is and what other kind of music he can sing. We will see Tuesday night when the top 12 guys perform.

Favorites Go Home During Hollywood Rounds

Boo hoo...some of my favorites..well, my most favorite went home during the Hollywood rounds tonight. They sure made the Hollywood rounds go by quick didn't they? It would be nice if they spent more time on showing it than the bad auditions first time around. Honestly, I got a little confused from last night. Anyone agree?

Sean Michel..GONE..and we only briefly got to see him. Why?

Bailey Brown...GONE. Too bad she forgot her words because she is an amazing singer even if her website is a little creepy.

Why is Sundance Head still there? He forgot his words too and he actually wasn't that impressive this time around.

And,where was Chris Richardson and Rachel Zevita?

Tonight the top 24 will be revealed. I guess I'll have to choose Chris Sligh, Antonella, Rudy Cardenas, and Blake as faves until I see the rest tonight.

Brandy Does Birmingham...

Tonight's auditions in Alabama were a bit lacking in true entertainment value. When you have to resort to a 50 year old woman pretending to be 26 dressed up as big bird you've definitely got problems? And, that long segment with the like-a-virgin Brandy was a bit much don't ya think? Instead of dragging out that mess they could have shown us a few more of those that got through to the hollywood round.

First up was Erica Skye. Bye the way, I just have to throw in here that her accent is quite like mine. I kep thinking she was saying scat instead of skye. Anyway, she wasn't the worst person I've ever heard audition but she wasn't good either. Too bad.

Katie Bernard...um, I don't like her "speaking" voice. I won't be able to take much of it. Surely we won't be seeing her past the hollywood round.

Tatiana. Wow. A good, strong singer but there's not really anything special about her that at this point makes me think she could be the next American Idol.

Jamie Lynn Ward, the girl with the overly dysfunctional family story line. I'm just wondering why Daddy's not in prison? And, am I the only one who kept thinking about the little girl Sheryl (played by the now big girl Hayden Panettiere) in Remember the Titans, when she said, " In Virginia, high school football is a way of life, it's bigger than Christmas day. My daddy coached in Alexandria, he worked so hard my momma left him, but I stayed with coach, he needed me on that field". Think Jamie is the new Kellie Pickler? Well, we don't have to worry about her not getting any votes now do we? She's got the guy vote I'm sure with that look.

Chris Sligh. He's got a great personality and a great voice. There's something about him that's likeable. I think he will do very very well in this competition. Could he possibly be the next American Idol?

The worst audition of the night with a bit of entertainment thrown in was Brandy, of course.
