He dedicated his song to his newborn son...which was quite sweet BUT he still can't sing a good song!

The judges liked him VERY much...maybe too much. But, he will be back next week anyway.

Chris Richardson

First of all, Chris Richardson CANNOT dance!

I'm not sure why this song was dedicated to his grandma???

Chris was one of my faves early on from the first audition, and that initial audition was great, at least I thought but I didn't like last week that much so I wasn't sure how this week would go.

BUT he did good. Gosh, is good all I can say tonight?

Anyway, the judges loved him. So, I'm thinking he will be back next week. I'm looking forward to more by him. Aren't you?

Brandon Rogers

A Song for his grandmother...so sweet. I'm a sucker for these things...

Time After Time..not bad...but not outstanding either. He still sings like a backup singer.

Overall, I'll say I liked the song but it didn't showcase him enough.

I'm not so sure he will be here next week. :(

Blake Lewis

Um, YEAH! That was GOOD.

At the beginning of the song, I wasn't so sure about it, but he made it his own during the end and it was right on. I wonder how many people know that song?

Randy & Paula liked it. Simon didnt think it was good...I do have to agree with Simon for the beginning of the song. I actually thought that before Simon said it.

Still though, he will go on to the next round for sure! Has to...

BTW, Ryan Seacrest is RETARDED... ;)

Nicholas Pedro..it was nice but STILL not great! I hate to seem so negative towards the guys tonight. They just seem so normal voice wise and normal is not good at a time like this.

I was surprised that the judges had such good things to say! Overall, I hope he stays in the competition. I like this guy! How about you?

Chris Sligh

Chris Sligh...sings well. However, this performance was disappointing to me.

I expected more from him. Maybe it was the song? He's still one of my favorite guys though. Expectedly, the judges liked him.

Sanjaya Malakar

WTH? He looked like Michael Jackson up there...

Aside from his ridiculous style choice, his tribute to his grandfather was very sweet. Awww!!!!!!

The voice was just OK. The judges didn't have the greatest things to say but I'm betting he's back next week due to his large fan base. It's sad to see such a young little guy go through this, but hey, he signed up for it!

AJ Tabaldo

AJ Tabaldo. Well, he sang well and he has a GREAT voice BUT overall I'm just not so sure about him as the next American Idol?

The song choice=perfect for him! However, everytime I hear his voice I think it's a girl's voice. Is it just me?

Jarrod Cotter: Let's Get It On

Um, Jarrod Cotter, this was another not so memorable performance.

He sang Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye. Overall, not bad but not that good either. The face move...just cute. :)

Phil Stacy: Top Ten Guys Tonight

Phil Stacy performed, Missing You and talked about his position in the military. Overall, the judges liked it. I did not like it THAT much. Simon was the only one who was vey realistic.

What do you think? Am I really off the deep end here?

The Top Ten Guys/Top Ten Girls

Tonight the top ten guys perform and tomorrow night the top ten girls perform. Hopefully the guys will do better than last week and hopefully the girls will be a little less, how shall I say it, boring?

I'm gonna take a guess and say that Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson and Phil Stacy will be favorites from tonight AGAIN!

And from the girls tomorrow night (Wednesday), undoubtedly, Lakisha Jones. Hopefully another girl shines through too!
