Simon or Randy said that this year is the girls year. I don't know which one said it nor does it matter but based on last night's Top 12 Guys episode, I definitely have to disagree. On that same note, neither the guys nor the girls this year are exceptional and only a handful are good enough to even possibly sell records. I've said this before and I'll say it again.. this season is boring. I'm so bored that I switch the channel and am barely motivated to write something here. Luckily the eye candy keeps me coming back for more. Just joking...kind of ;)
I'm not going to do a recap on each contestant because that's been done already this week on several awesome blogs like Rickey, VoteForTheWorst, and MJSBigBlog. Instead I'm going to list my favorites and predictions on who's leaving tonight.

Recap Of The Top 12 Girls
I'm not gonna go into too much detail on the girl's performances last night because I'm short on time and the eliminations are almost here. I'll just give you a few brief thoughts on each lady. Overall, I think the girls did better than the guys. However, neither group really shined!
Kristi Lee Cook: Not so good. I was disappointed since we were hearing a lot about her.
Joanne Borgella: I'm afraid she just may be going home tonight.
Alaina Whitaker: This young girl is actually quite good. I liked her performance and I hope to see her sing some more.
Amanda Overmyer: I usually like the rocker girls but her not so much. It's just blah.
Amy Davis: Her performance was another boring one. I can barely remember who she is. She is possibly in danger of going home as well.
Brooke White: I love the music she sings and the way she sounds. She is very current. :)
Alexandrea Lushington: She surprised me but still overall she was just ok for me.
Kady Malloy: I guess I am one of few females who actually likes Kady. I know the guys have to adore her but she has a great presence and her Britney impersonation is right on and cute. I hope she is around a little longer.
Asia'h Epperson: She was original, engaging, and sounded great! My favorite by far of the night.
Ramiele Malubay: I adore her. She's definitely top 5 material.
Syesha Mercado: Another great performance. Very professional.
Carly Smithson: She didn't do as good as I expected last night but I'm still rooting for her.
My Favorites From Last Night: Asia'h, Syesha and Brooke.
My Picks For Who I Want To Be Eliminated: Amanda Overmyer and Joanne Borgella
Who I Think Will Go Home: Joanne Borgella and Amy Davis

Top 12 Girls Performance
Well, the girls definitely did better than the guys overall but still I was kind of bored with some of their performances. I was also disappointed in a few of the girls based on their earlier performances.
My ultimate favorite of the night was Lakisha Jones who I think will go very far in this competition and she deserves it. She truly is in a WHOLE different league than the rest of these singers. But will she win?
Other good performances of the night were Amy Krebs, Gina Glockson, and Nicole Tranquillo. I was also quite surprised by Sabrina Sloan. Who were you surprised by during last night's girls performances?
I'm thinking Alaina Alexander is going home as well as Antonella Barba or Haley Scarnato unless they have big fan bases. Maybe people will keep them around for their looks? Personality? Who knows but sometimes these votes don't make sense? It's certainly not their voices. These 3 are weak compared to the other girl finalists.
